Batchewana First Nation Police are investigating a break and enter discovered at 4:51 a.m. Friday morning.

The Steel Speed at 487 Gran Street, Rankin Reserve was broken into and a number of lockers were forced open.

Stolen from the property were various hand tools, a grinder, mag drill and bits and a welder's helmet.

The thieves also stole a blue 1990 GMC Sierra pickup truck.

The truck has a rack on the back of the truck and Steel Speed written on the door.

Later in the morning, some of the stolen tools were recovered near the Francis Clergue School.

Anyone who may have seen the stolen vehicle on the reserve or near the school are asked to call the Batchewana Police at 1-888-310-1122 (OPP dispatch) or Crime Stopppers at 1-800-222-8477.
