Yesterday afternoon, City Police arrested a male and charged him with 20 counts of theft under $5,000.

It is alleged that between May 13 and June 22, the accused stole various food items from Joe’s No Frills at 519 Korah Road.

At the time of these offences, the accused, who was employed as a cleaner, was observed by surveillance cameras stealing the items.

The estimated value of the stolen items is approximately $738. Frank Small, age 49, of 490 Parliament Street, is charged with 20 counts of theft under $ 5,000.

He will be appearing in court on August 11 at 9 a.m.
