Second fire at same address deemed 'suspicious'

For the second time in less than a month, Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services personnel this morning rushed to a house fire at the corner of Korah Road and Raymond Street. Firefighters and City Police responded around 4:45 a.m.

For the second time in less than a month, Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services personnel this morning rushed to a house fire at the corner of Korah Road and Raymond Street.

Firefighters and City Police responded around 4:45 a.m.

The structure was vacant at the time and no injuries were reported.

Authorities are considering today’s fire “suspicious” and an investigation is underway.

The first fire at the 442 Korah Road address was on November 20, 2012.
