NEWS RELEASE

ALGOMA PUBLIC HEALTH

**************************** Seasonal flu vaccination now available for all

Algoma Public Health is now expanding flu clinics to include seasonal influenza vaccination to all people in the community.

All clinics are by appointment only.

Please call to make your appointment.

Phone lines are open from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In Sault Ste. Marie, call 541-2332.

In the Algoma district, call 1-800-469-2449.

Stay healthy this flu season. Here’s how:

- Wash your hands often with soap and warm water for at least 15 seconds.

- Cough and sneeze into your upper sleeve or a tissue, not in your hand. Dispose of tissues immediately.

- Stay home if you have flu-like symptoms (i.e. fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue).

- Get your flu shot.
