Searchmont Ski Resort announced this afternoon that it's postponing its opening day because of unfavourable weather.
"The recent warm weather and rain has diminished our base of natural and man-made snow, and has limited our abilities to make more snow," the resort advises.
Opening day is tentatively re-scheduled for Friday December 22.
Searchmont also reports that it's extending early-bird pricing on season passes.
Buy before Christmas and you'll save $50.
