************************* Stratford man plans Mediterranean cruise with $1.2 million Lotto Max second prize win

TORONTO, March 14 - Congratulations to Allan Sebben of Stratford, Ontario who plans to take his family on a Mediterranean cruise after winning a Lotto Max second prize of $1,204,659 from the March 11, 2011, draw.

He claimed his big prize this afternoon at OLG's prize centre in Toronto.

A long-time lottery player, Allan checked his numbers on his computer Saturday morning, and then had a neighbour check the numbers for him as well.

He then had his ticket validated at a lottery retailer, and the excitement started to sink in.

"Everything was blurry," he said at first. "Just disbelief. Wow!"

Employed as a delivery driver, Allan said he planned to quit his job, and would also invest, share with family and travel.

The 57-year-old is married and a father of one.

Allan purchased his winning ticket at Smythe Cambria Quick Stop in Stratford.

Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario Lotto Max players have won more than $550 million in prizes including seven jackpots and 94 winning Maxmillions tickets.

For each $5 play, Lotto Max players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to 49.

Encore is also available on Lotto Max for $1.

The next Lotto Mxx jackpot is estimated at $31 million.

OLG is a provincial agency responsible for province-wide lottery games and gaming facilities.

Since 1975, OLG lotteries, casinos, slots, and resort casinos have generated more than $32 billion for the benefit of the Province of Ontario.

Gaming proceeds support Ontario's hospitals, amateur sport, recreational and cultural activities, communities, provincial priority programs such as health care and education, and local and provincial charities and non-profit organizations through the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
