************************* Yesterday at approximately 8:40 a.m., high school liaison officers were watching an area adjacent to the Zeller’s Plaza on Northern Avenue.

As a result, two persons were arrested and charged under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act.

A 14-year-old male was charged with possession of cannabis marijuana and a 17-year-old male charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (cannabis marijuana).

They have court dates on May 26.

************************* Break and enters

- A home on Idaho Drive was entered during the afternoon hours yesterday. A digital camera and a Dell laptop computer were reported taken.

- A storage unit of an apartment building was entered and a Acer video monitor taken. The apartment is located on St. George’s Avenue East in the 300 block.

- An attempted break-in was reported to Armando’s Hair Castle on McNabb Street. This attempt occurred over the weekend sometime.

************************* Mischief to property

-A car was reported to have had its paint scratched. This vehicle was parked on Bristol Place and this was probably one of several done during the weekend at this location

- A vehicle had its paint damaged as well in the 1000 block of Queen Street.
