************************* Scarborough resident wins $1,000,000 playing Encore

TORONTO, ON - (January 15) - Congratulations to Malachi Clarke of Scarborough who said yes to Encore and won a second prize of $1,000,000 from the December 30, 2009 draw. "I screamed, hopped, skipped and cried tears of joy," said an excited Clarke of his reaction to his win. "I am completely ecstatic, this whole experience is very overwhelming," he went on to say.

The 45-year-old retiree plans to pay off debt and buy a house with the windfall.

The winning ticket was purchased at Mister Milk located on Bloor Street West in Etobicoke.

OLG is a provincial agency responsible for province-wide lottery games and gaming facilities. Since 1975, OLG lotteries, casinos, slots, and resort casinos have generated more than $28 billion for the benefit of the Province of Ontario.

Gaming proceeds support Ontario's hospitals, amateur sport, recreational and cultural activities, communities, provincial priority programs such as health care and education, and local and provincial charities and non-profit organizations through the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
