The approaching retirement of the Anglican Bishop of the Diocese of Algoma is the subject of a current article in the Anglican Journal.

According to the piece, Bishop Ronald Ferris will leave the post effective September 30.

The Toronto native has been in the position, which is based in Sault Ste. Marie, for the past 13 years.

Bishop Ferris and his wife Jan will move to Canada’s west coast where they will be closer to their children and grandchildren.
