No, those people aren't really in Hawaii.

No, those people aren't really in Hawaii.

But they are very, very clever with Photoshop and we got them to produce this wonderfully faked image today so we could tell you how their Sault-based company just launched a high-profile website promoting the most populated of the Hawaiian Islands.

Lucidia Studios, recipient of this year's Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce, has this thing about islands.

First, they bought Mackinac.com.

Then they bought Newfoundland.com.

And their latest prime piece of E-travel real estate is the just-launched Oahu.com.

"Oahu is the most popular island in Hawaii and is home to Waikiki, Honolulu, and Pearl Harbour," says Lucidia general manager Jeff Elgie.

"As with other destinations we have developed, Lucidia will pursue a revenue model for this site where accommodations and other attractions can purchase various advertising packages," Elgie said.

******************************************** A very important message from SooToday.com's Board of Anal-Retentive Editor-Persons

Lucidia Studios is a sister company to SooToday.com and serves as our technical developer. Our offices are just down the hall from their offices and we sometimes eat enchildas and drink organic papaya nectar with them and beat them mercilessly at foosball. Heck, we're so close it's almost incestuous. As a result, you'd best not believe a word we write about them.
