Saultite voted Canada's newest supermodel

Flare Magazine will announce Monday that Tertia Lamb (shown) is the winner of its Estée Lauder supermodel search contest, SooToday.com has learned.

If you placed an online vote for Tertia in response to our appeal earlier this week, Tertia and her family want to extend you a huge 'thank-you' today.

You've given the 23-year-old Saultite a big, big boost in her goal of becoming a supermodel.

A former St. Basil Secondary School student now studying acting in Toronto, Tertia Lamb was chosen from five finalists through an Internet vote that ended Friday morning.

She's won an $8,000 prize package that includes a stylist make over and a photo shoot and consultation with Elite Modeling Agency in Toronto.

No, it's not a formal modeling contract.

At least not yet.

But for one day, probably the second week in January, Tertia's going to be a Supermodel-for-a-Day.
