For the fifth year in a row, Saultbies were chromatized by the roar of motorcycles parading around downtown.

The fifth annual Ride for the Cure got underway from Clergue Park this morning about 11 a.m. and more than 120 bikes made their way up to Smack Daddy's, then down to Queen Street, Bay Street then off to the open highway to support breast cancer research.

Among them were Allan and Heather Yeates (shown) and more bikes will be joining the parade as it makes its way to the Salzburger Hof Resort in Batchawana Bay

This year's ride was dedicated to the memory of Sherry (Lapossie) Guindon.

Ride organizers have set a target of $23,000 after exceeding their $20,000 target last year and are confident they will reach it with their new online donation system.
