************************* Greektown Casino announces three new management board members

DETROIT - Greektown Casino has announced changes to its management board, adding three business executives with significant casino gaming, hospitality industry and reorganization experience.

Greektown Casino’s new five-member board will guide the property through its Chapter 11 reorganization, a process that began in late May and is expected to continue through exit in no later than September 2009.

The new board includes one member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, the casino’s majority owner, and four non-Sault Tribe members.

Gaming licenses for the three new Greektown management board members were approved today by the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB), the state’s casino gaming regulatory agency.

The three new members are:

- Jacob Miklojcik, a casino gaming industry analyst based in Lansing, Michigan. Miklojcik provides financial and other business planning consulting services to gaming clients across the country. He assists clients in various industries with financial and economic impact analyses, business plan preparation, market analyses and other strategic consulting services. Miklojcik holds a bachelor of science degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a master of public policy from the University of Michigan.

- Louis Glazier, a certified public accountant, attorney and principal at Franklin Advisors LLC, a Farmington Hills financial consulting firm specializing in corporate restructuring, turn around management and business planning. From 1975 to 1999, Glazier served as CFO of Thornapple Valley, a publicly traded company with more than $1 billion in average yearly sales. He holds a bachelor of science degree from Wayne State University and a law degree from the University of Detroit School of Law.

- Ted Gatzaros, a long-time Metro Detroit developer who has built and managed some of the state’s most recognized and popular hospitality businesses, including Fishbone’s Rhythm Kitchen Café, the Atheneum Suite Hotel and Conference Center in Detroit, and various office buildings and residential housing properties. Gatzaros is a minority shareholder in Greektown Casino.

The fourth member of the Greektown Casino management board is Joe McCoy, the current elected chairman of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, majority owners of Greektown Casino.

The state gaming license for the fifth member of the management board is being processed and is expected to be considered by the MGCB as early as January.

Before the end of this week, Greektown Casino is also expected to announce the hiring of a new CEO or gaming management consultant.

Former CEO Craig Ghelfi retired in October.

On Monday, December 22, the casino will open its new International Buffet.

In February, the 400-room Greektown Casino-Hotel will open.

The hotel is now accepting room reservations and event bookings for 2009.

On November 28, the casino opened its new high-limits gaming area, luxurious accommodations for guests seeking more discrete gaming with the opportunity to play at a higher level of excitement.

Located at 555 E. Lafayette Avenue in Detroit's Greektown Entertainment District, Greektown Casino-Hotel opened on November 10, 2000.

Readers of the Detroit News and the Detroit Free Press have voted Greektown Casino-Hotel Michigan’s and Detroit’s “Best Casino” numerous times.

In addition to being named “Best Casino” by readers of the News and Free Press, Greektown Casino-Hotel also placed first in other categories in the News’ reader survey, including “Best Slots,” “Best Wait Staff Outfits,” “Best Craps Tables,” “Best Blackjack Tables,” “Best High Rollers Area,” “Best Casino Restaurant” and “Best Casino Entertainment.”
