November passenger traffic at the Sault Ste. Marie Airport was down from October numbers, according to the SSMADC's passenger level report this month.

Terry Bos, SSMADC president and CEO says that is a normal decline, but it highlights the long road to recovery.

"There is still a very long recovery road ahead and that recovery is not going to be a straight growth line," said Bos.

These numbers are also 55 per cent lower than pre-pandemic numbers from November 2019.

All domestic flights have returned to Sault Ste. Marie.

Air Canada Express provides three flights daily, Bearskin offers 30 flights weekly, Porter is offering 11 flights per week.
