BRIAN TREMBLAY PHOTOGRAPHY

************************* SAULT STE. MARIE, ON - (October 14) - Brian Tremblay, a Sault Ste. Marie photographer, was chosen from a pool of many to have two of his images featured in a new book by Wiley Publishing and The Photo Workshop entitled Photos That Inspire.

“I’m pretty excited to be featured in such a fine book,” said Tremblay. “The Photo Workshop has many fine photographers and to be picked out from them is really an honour.”

Wiley Publishing has published a new line of books for photographers under Robert Farber’s Photo Workshop banner.

There are seven in the series of books ranging in topics from lighting, and photographing children to macro photography, portrait and candid photos and composition.

Wiley Publishing is famous for their “For Dummies” series of books and are the leading publisher of books in scientific, technical, and medical communities worldwide.

The two Tremblay photos chosen by Wiley’s editors are called “Locks and Chains” and “Nude 13."

Locks and Chains will be featured in the still life section and Nude 13 will be in a special section called "Skin."

Tremblay is a professional photographer in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

He’s been in business for fourteen years.

His work has been featured in such publications as MacLean’s, The Globe and Mail, The National Post, Photographer’s Market, CA Magazine, Hotelier Magazine and Food Service and Hospitality Magazine.

He has received many awards for his work; most recently the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International awarded him this year with an Accolade of Excellence in their 16x20 competition.

The Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce has bestowed its 2005 Entrepreneur/Business of the Year and 2000 Market Award upon him.
