In a notice issued Saturday afternoon, Sault College is advising that Algoma Public Health notified the post-secondary institution of a positive COVID-19 test result.

The notice said that the test result "involved a single college community member who attended a class."

The school is working with APH on contact tracing and contacting individuals who may have been in close contact with the individual.

"The College remains open for scheduled on-campus practical learning activities and out of an abundance of caution only the one class in question will be moved to remote learning for ten days," the statement from Sault College said. "Those impacted will be notified and no other activities are impacted at this time."
