Sault College

There'll be a lot of cars around White Pines Collegiate on Saturday. Sault College, currently undergoing major renovations, has been forced to move its 37th spring convocation there.

799 students in 61 post-secondary programs will graduate at separate morning and afternoon ceremonies.

The largest classes are the personal support worker program (108 students, many of whom participated through distance education) and the diploma nursing graduating class (42 graduands).

Ladies and gentlemen, the Class of 2002...

SooToday.com is proud to recognize the Class of 2002 by publishing the full list of graduands (they won't actually be graduates until after the respective morning and afternoon ceremonies.)

You can access the list by clicking here.

Please return later on Saturday for full coverage and photos of Sault College's 37th spring convocation.

First graduates from new social services worker program

Twelve students will become the first graduates of the two-year social services worker program. Until last fall, Sault College offered only the first year and students were required to transfer to Northern College to complete their training.

This will be the final convocation for Gerry McGuire, who's retiring as the college's president.
