************************* Sault College faculty opening act for Snowbirds Air Show

SAULT STE. MARIE - (June 9) - The Snowbirds Air show will take to the skies on Wednesday, June 10.

In an opening act, four Sault College aviation faculty will present their own show demonstrating formation flying beginning at 5 p.m.

“They were invited to show the community their expertise in flight and flight training,” boasts Colin Kirkwood, dean of natural environment, skilled trades and technology.

“Faculty members Ben Mears, Louis St. Pierre, Steve Hause and Earl Turner have been practicing their show for the last couple of weeks. It is quite impressive. The community will be pleasantly surprised to see the talents of these professors,” says Kirkwood.

Faculty will be flying in the College’s Zlin and Piper aircraft.

The Snowbirds Air Show can be seen from the Sault Ste. Marie Airport road and public viewing areas will be set up in the vicinity.

The event is free.

Donations to the Sault Ste. Marie Military Families Support group would be appreciated.
