Salty language alert! Video shows NW Ontario man's narrow miss with moose

The video has gone viral

A Northwestern Ontario man experienced what easily could have turned into a disastrous encounter with not just one but four moose on a remote highway this month.

Video posted on YouTube shows a vehicle driven by James Levesque of Longlac approaching, then driving right between the animals as they crossed Highway 631 which connects Hornepayne and Highway 11.

In the video, recorded on Jan. 3, it appears that the CNR engineer attempted to slow down when he saw the moose, realized that the the vehicle was sliding, then decided the best course was to continue.

The vehicle ended up barely squeezing between two bulls as they trotted along the road, one on either side.

The images were recorded on a dashboard-mounted camera.
