Robin Street man charged with impaired driving

************************* Nineteen-year-old Ryan Hachey of 39 Robin Street was arrested at 2:57 a.m. today on Great Northern Road and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of consuming over the legal limit.

It is alleged that around 2:50 a.m., the accused was observed by City Police operating his vehicle northbound on Great Northern Road.

The vehicle swerved on two occasions and the left-signal light on the vehicle was activated and the driver did not make or attempt to make any turns.

The vehicle struck a curb when pulling into a restaurant driveway and was stopped and checked by police.

The accused was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

He is to appear in court on the 21st of July.
