Ryan Chiarello and his little friend go truckin'

CITY POLICE NEWS RELEASE ************************* At approximately 1:10 a.m. this morning officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested Ryan Chiarello, age 21, of 119 Salisbury Avenue and a 16-year-old youth.

************************* At approximately 1:10 a.m. this morning officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested Ryan Chiarello, age 21, of 119 Salisbury Avenue and a 16-year-old youth.

It is alleged that the two accused were on Black Road in a stolen 2004 Ford pickup truck when police attempted to stop the vehicle.

The accused had initially attempted to flee from police but were eventually stopped.

Mr. Chiarello is charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime and one count of fleeing from police the youth is charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime and one count of breach of undertaking - by breaching his curfew.

Both accused will be appearing in bail court today.
