Radio personality Rush Limbaugh turned himself in today to Florida authorities on a charge of prescription fraud resulting from a two-year-old investigation into his admitted painkiller addiction.

Limbaugh attended at the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office late this afternoon on a warrant for fraud to conceal information to obtain prescription painkillers.

The Associated Press is reporting that Limbaugh insists he is innocent.

He reached a settlement with prosecutors under which the charge will be dismissed in 18 months if he continues treatment for drug addiction.
