Would you like to put your people skills to work while helping a good cause?

The Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie is looking for community-minded people to join their ticket selling team.

“We have some vacancies on our team due to ticket sellers moving or retiring over the past three years,” co-chair Paul Walz said in a news release.

The club said volunteer ticket sellers are the driving force behind its largest fundraiser of the year, the Take Your Pick Draw.

“We run one RotaryFest Take Your Pick Draw in the summer and a Rotary Take Your Pick Draw leading up to Christmas. We offer different prizes to suit the season, but both draws support the same charities, youth projects, and good works in our community,” Walz said.

Take Your Pick tickets are sold at indoor locations across Sault Ste. Marie, including Station Mall and various grocery stores.

Shifts are flexible throughout the week.

Interested members of the community are asked to contact the Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie as soon as possible at 705-945-1279 or [email protected] to participate in the current Rotary Take Your Pick Draw, which has sales taking place until Dec. 22.
