Roderick Mackay of #1-664 Frontenac Street on the 20th of November at 10:05 a.m. on Frontenac Street and charged with three counts of breach of an undertaking.

It is alleged that the accused attended on the properties of two persons known to him and harassed them by yelling and swearing at them.

The accused was on undertaking conditions that he not attend on their properties, harass, annoy or physically interfere with them.

He is to appear in court on the 20th of December.

************************* Youth arrested for mischief A 17-year-old male youth was arrested by officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service on the 21st of November at 11:12 p.m. at the police station and charged with one count of mischief and one count of breach of probation.

It is alleged that on the 20th of November the accused was in an intoxicated state and kicked in the front door of a family member’s home.

He is to appear in bail court this morning.

************************ Three domestic-related arrests A 23-year-old male was arrested on the 20th of November at 5:04 p.m. at the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service and charged with four counts of assault and one count of aggravated assault. It is alleged that on the 20th of November around 2 p.m. officers attended at an East End residence regarding a domestic dispute and a male to be removed. When officers attended and an investigation was conducted, they discovered that the female victim had been assaulted and injured by her ex-boyfriend on the 18th of November. Officers further learned that the victim had been assaulted and injured on numerous occasions during their four-year relationship. As a result of one of the assaults, the victim required medical attention and hospitalization. The accused is to appear in bail court this morning.

A 46-year-old male was arrested on the 20th of November at 1:55 a.m. at his residence and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 20th of November the accused assaulted his common-law spouse by punching her in the face. He is to appear in court on the 20th of December.

A 36-year-old female was arrested on the 19th of November at 7:16 p.m. in the Station Mall and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that while at the mall the accused walked up to her ex-boyfriend and assaulted him by punching him several times in the face. She is to appear in court on the 22nd of December.

************************** Mischief reports

- A vehicle and a power box in the Vesta Place Creekside Lane area was spray-painted. - A vehicle parked on Texas Avenue was keyed.

- A vehicle parked at a West End bar received front-end damage possibly by someone who kicked it. - Rear tires on vehicle parked in the 300 block of Wilson Street were slashed.

- A rock was thrown through a window of a vehicle parked in a parking lot in the 500 block of Bay Street.

- A window of a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Wellington Street West was smashed.

************************* Theft reports

- A shed in the 300 block of Bloor Street West was broken into and tools were reported stolen.

- Licence plates were stolen off a vehicle parked on Princess Crescent.

************************* Theft/ smash-and-grab vehicle entries

Vehicles parked in parking lots in the 100 block of Brock Street, 300 block of Albert Street, Bruce Street at Queen Street, on East Street and in the 200 block of Queen Street East. Two were at residences in the 200 block of Glen Avenue and one in the 600 block of Wellington Street East.

Items that were left inside and stolen included four purses, a Canon SLR digital camera, a Toshiba satellite laptop, a wallet and an iPod.

Once again, City Police would like to remind the public not leave valuables in your vehicles.

If you leave valuable items in your vehicle the chances your vehicle will get broken into increase greatly.

Very few auto break-ins are "random." The thieves usually see something that has been left inside.

Valuable items that thieves target are wallets, GPS units, MP3 players, credit cards, money, purses, packages and so forth.

If you can't take the items with you, secure them in a safe place in your vehicle, like a locked glove compartment or your trunk.
