************************* Male shoplifting suspect
Forty-year-old Craig Jones of #4-102 Breton Road was arrested on the 2nd of September at 5:43 a.m. on Wellington Street East and charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and one count of mischief.
It is alleged that on the 2nd of September at 5:30 a.m., the accused attended at the Mac’s Convenience Store on Wellington Street East and stole some food products and when he was leaving threw a rock through the door window.
He is to appear in court on the 5th of October.
************************* Male accused of assault and mischief
Thirty-three-year-old Darren Quinn of 56 Ferguson Avenue was arrested on the 2nd September at 4:53 p.m. at his residence and charged with one count of assault and one count of mischief under $5,000.
It is alleged that on the 2nd of September the accused assaulted a male known to him on Ferguson Avenue that resulted in non-life threatening injuries.
The accused also damaged the same victim’s vehicle the day prior.
The accused is to appear in bail court this morning.

- Bikes were reported stolen on Goulais Avenue.
- A vehicle was entered in the 700 block of Great Northern Road and a CD player was reported stolen.
- A Lawnmower was stolen from a shed on Abbott Street.
************************* Mischief reports
- A bus shelter on Bennett Boulevard was damaged.
- A gate of a property on Kohler Street was damaged.
- A rock was thrown at a vehicle parked on Prince Charles Crescent that resulted in damage to the windshield.
- A vehicle was keyed on Carufel Avenue.
