Robert Hall accused of drunk snowbank-banging

************************* Forty-six-year-old Robert Hall of 750 Cooper Street was arrested on this morning at 2:18 a.m. on Goulais Avenue and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of one count of fail to provide breath sample.

It is alleged that on the 18th of December at approximately 2:12 a.m., City Police received information regarding a possible impaired driver heading north on Goulais Avenue.

Witnesses reported seeing the vehicle operating with no headlights and striking snowbanks.

Officers located the vehicle stuck in a snowbank on Goulais Avenue and when they checked the driver they found him to be under the influence of alcohol.

It is further alleged that the accused refused to provide a breath sample.

He is to appear in court on the 26th of January, 2009.
