Robbery at Doctor's Building

A robbery has taken place today at The Medicine Shoppe pharmacy at 955 Queen Street East, the Doctor's Building between the Plummer and General hospitals. Both City Police and the OPP are currently at the scene.

A robbery has taken place today at The Medicine Shoppe pharmacy at 955 Queen Street East, the Doctor's Building between the Plummer and General hospitals.

Both City Police and the OPP are currently at the scene.

The OPP is there with a police tracking dog because the City Police canine unit is not available today.

Seen is an OPP officer gearing up to enter the building at about 2:40 this afternoon.

Witnesses at the scene said a man armed with a gun went into the Medicine Shoppe before 2 p.m. today and demanded drugs.
