Ricky Moll accused of acting like a drunken jerk

************************* 50-year-old Ricky Moll of 59 Creery Avenue was arrested on the 19th of June at 7:15 p.m. on Elizabeth Street and charged with one count of impaired driving, one count of fail to provide breath or blood sample and one count of resisting or obstructing a peace officer.

It is alleged that on the 19th of June at approximately 7:06 p.m. the accused was involved in a single motor vehicle collision by striking and severing a fire hydrant on Elizabeth Street.

When officers attended they discovered the accused to be under the influence of alcohol.

The accused refused to exit the vehicle for the officers and challenged them to fight.

The accused had to be physically removed from the vehicle and continuously swore at the officers.

When the accused was brought to the station he refused to provide a breath sample.

There were no injuries reported and the vehicle received minor damage.

The accused is to appear in court on the 23rd of July.
