Richard Turner seized by powerful thirst

************************* Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 40-year-old Richard Turner of #1-626 Albert Street West at 1:52 p.m. yesterday on Bruce Street and charged him with one count of theft under $5,000 and two counts of breach of probation.

It is alleged that on the 23rd of November at 1:44 p.m., the accused attended at the LCBO Store in the Station Mall and stole a bottle of vodka.

He was located a short time later on Bruce Street by police and arrested.

At the time of the offence, the accused was on conditions that he not attend the Station Mall and was to keep the peace and be good.

He is to attend in court on the 4th of January.

************************ Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 18-year-old Alexis Lewis of 130 Homestead Road, Goulais River at 5:45 p.m. last night at the Metro Store on Northern Avenue and charged her with one count of theft under $5,000.

It is alleged that on the 23rd November at 5:15 p.m., the accused attended at the store and stole a number of cosmetic creams.

She was apprehended by store security and held for police.

She is to appear in count on the 10th of January.
