CASTELLANI, Ricordo (Richard) - It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Ricordo (Richard) Castellani on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the age of 88.

Devoted husband of the late Alda Castellani (Filipetti).

Loving father "Babbo" of Dan Castellani (Diana), Paul Castellani (Sylvia).

Zio of Roberto and Anna Pinca of Chiusi, Tuscany and cousin of Adelia, Robert, and Joseph Orazietti and families.

He will also be missed by many dear friends.

Born in Fano, Italy on January 23rd, 1926, Ricordo was an active member of the Sault Ste. Marie community as a tailor ("il sarto"), restauranteur (Ricardo’s), steelworker, Rotarian, Cancer Clinic volunteer and all around social butterfly.

His friends at the St. Jerome's Senior Group and the West End Boys will certainly miss his sense of humour.
