****************************** Fishing licence suspension for repeat offender
An Iron Bridge man received a one year fishing suspension for repeatedly disregarding Ontario fishing rules.
Kevin Berry, 37, of Iron Bridge pleaded guilty to fishing with too many lines.
He received a suspended sentence plus a one year fishing licence suspension.
Three ice fishing rods were permanently forfeited.
Court heard that on March 11, 2011, Berry was caught ice fishing with too many lines.
Berry had been charged twice previously for fishing with extra lines.
Justice of the Peace Dianne Lafleur heard the case in the Ontario Court of Justice in Blind River on April 6, 2011.
