“Sault College is proud to once again work in partnership with CLA to offer this unique program,” said Lori Crosson, Continuing Education, Sault College. “This particular program ran for the first time in March 2018 and was very successful. Students receive an incredible education in this field of study as well as an opportunity to showcase their knowledge and skills through a field placement and guaranteed employment interview with CLA for those who qualify. We’re extremely excited to work together with CLA to help our students achieve their educational and employment goals.”

“Community Living Algoma is excited about working with Sault College to continue offering this this certificate program in our community. It has been more than 20 years since the DSW program was offered locally and there have been many positive changes in the lives of people with developmental disabilities that CLA wants to share with prospective employees,” said John Policicchio, Executive Director, Community Living Algoma. “If a student is looking for a career in which they will have opportunities to help others to explore new experiences, build relationships and create connections to community, this certificate could open that door.”
