CBC Television is reporting at this hour that the the RCMP is conducting a raid on Conservative party headquarters in Ottawa.
It's said to be part of an Elections Canada probe into campaign financing and election ads.
In an unrelated development, the election irregularities trial of Catholic School Trustee Grace Tridico is now underway in Sault Ste. Marie.
Tridico is facing accusations related to the 2006 municipal election.
