************************* Male arrested on outstanding warrant

Twenty-six-year-old Raymond Gregoire of no fixed address was arrested on an outstanding warrant at 10:40 a.m. yesterday at the courthouse and charged with one count of breach of probation for allegedly failing to report to probation and parole in January.

Gregoire [seen in surveillance video below] is to appear in bail court this morning.

************************* Domestic-related incident arrest

A 31-year-old male was arrested on the 17th of February at 11:20 a.m. on an outstanding warrant and charged with one count of assault and five counts of breach of a release document.

It is alleged that on the 12th of February the accused attended at the home of his ex-girlfriend and assaulted her.

At the time, he was on a recognizance of bail with conditions not to communicate with her, not to attend at her residence, not to physically interfere with her and not to consume any alcohol.

He is to attend in bail court this morning.

************************* Male youth charged with obstructing police

A 16-year-old male youth was arrested at 3:15 a.m. this morning and charged with one count of obstruct police and one count of consuming alcohol under the age of 19 years under the Liquor Licence Act.

It is alleged that police received a call just before 3 a.m. this morning regarding two suspicious males possibly checking vehicles in the area of Boundary Road.

When officers arrived in the area they located the accused and at the time he was found to be under the influence of alcohol and also falsely identified himself to the officers.

When officers ran check on him they discovered he was wanted on an outstanding warrant for breach of a release document.

He is to appear in bail court this morning.

************************* Shoplifting suspect arrested

Forty-one-year-old Tammy Coccimiglio of 38 Creekside Lane was arrested testerday and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.

It is alleged that on the 17th of February she attended at Zellers in the Station Mall and stole a number of items.

She was apprehended by store security and held for police.

She is to attend in court on the 29th of March.

************************* Mischief reports - A Norpro vehicle window was smashed in the area of Silver Birch Drive. - A vehicle on River Road was vandalized.

- Two dumpster fires were reported last night around 9:28 p.m. and 10:48 p.m. in the rear of two businesses in the 800 block of Queen Street East.
