Just after 10:30 p.m. yesterday, City Police were summoned to the 800 block of Goulais Avenue to investigate a single motor vehicle accident from which the driver had been sent to hospital with minor injuries.
They found that a car travelling south on Goulais Avenue had lost control, left the roadway and struck a tree.
Forty-four-year-old Randy Parr of 208 Turner Avenue has been charged with impaired driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol concentration greater than 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood.
He's due in court on December 21.
