SooToday received the following letter from Ross Romano, chair of the Queenstown Business Improvement Area Board (you may also know Ross as a local lawyer and one of two city councillors for Ward 6) regarding the BIA's new office manager.

The hiring comes a little less than three months after the QueensTown BIA's previous manager, Duane Moleni, quit and announced his exit from our 'ailing city'

To our members,

On behalf of the Queenstown BIA Board, it is my pleasure to announce to you that we have hired Josh Ingram as our new office manager.  He will be joining our office officially on July 4, 2016.

Josh is a home grown talent, born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie. He attended at Algoma University College where he was actively involved in the student union and where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in both English and history.

After completing his post secondary education Josh proceeded to take over as owner and operator of his family business, Twin City Signs. Josh was most recently employed as the creative director at 8:56 Ltd., a position he has left in order to join us as the new office manager of the Queenstown BIA.

Our board is excited to start working with Josh, in order to deliver to you our members, the value you deserve. Josh looks forward to meeting with you all, on a one on one basis to discuss your goals and vision for the Queenstown BIA moving forward.

Thank you,

Ross Romano

Chair - Queenstown Association
