************************* Three persons arrested outside local bar this morning

At approximately 2:20 a.m. this morning, City Police received a call of a disturbance outside a local bar.

Police attended at the bar and found several intoxicated persons outside.

When officers were attempting to deal with one of the intoxicated females, a male attempted to punch one of the officers.

The male was arrested and continued to resist and to fight with officers.

Another female struck one of the officers in the back while arresting the male.

She was taken into custody and also resisted arrest and continued to struggle with the officers.

As a result, 23-year-old Joseph Bray of no fixed address was charged with one count of assaulting a peace officer and one count of resisting a peace officer.

One of the females, 22-year-old Crystal Kelly of #2-500 Wallace Terrace was charged with two counts of assaulting a peace officer and one count of resist arrest.

Both are to appear in court on June 7.

The other female, 26-year-old Jamie Masters of 205 St. Georges Avenue West, was charged with one count of intoxicated in a public place.
