Despite uncertain times confronting key sectors of Northern Ontario’s economy, the McGuinty government sees better days ahead.

A proposed 25-year growth plan for the North promises to foster prosperity and tackle long-standing issues.

They include keeping youth in the North and the ongoing need for infrastructure upgrades.

You can find out more about the Proposed Growth Plan for Northern Ontario at a public information session in the Sault on Tuesday, November 10.

The event will be held in ballroom C at the Marconi Club, 450 Albert Street West.

While the meeting runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the doors will open at 5:30 for those who want to learn more the government’s strategies.
