************************* Good afternoon:

I've been browsing around town on Google Earth and noticed something interesting - I figured I'd share it since you have some interesting pictures up.

I was "cruising" along Base Line and noticed the sign out front of R.M. Moore Elementary School reading "Welcome Mr. Prime Minister."

So this sparked my curiosity further. I decided to "fly" downtown to the bridge plaza, and check out what I found!

Is it the Prime Minister's motorcade?

I'm thinking so!

I thought it was pretty neat for Google's cars to catch!!

Thanks,

- Chris Gaughan

EDITOR'S NOTE #1 - Josh Pringle, president of the Sault Conservative Riding Association, confirms that the image discovered by Chris Gaughan on Google Street View does indeed show the motorcade of Prime Minister Stephen Harper, who visited the Sault on September 2 - the same day the Google cars were in town. Primgle says Harper was riding in the third vehicle shown. "The last vehicle, if you look far enough back, was the mayor's vehicle," he adds.

EDITOR'S NOTE #2 - Photo accompanying this article shows Prime Minister Stephen Harper with former Prime Minister Jean Chretien, cheering on Canadian athletes over the weekend at the ladies' moguls competition in Vancouver.
