This is a description of an unplanned power interruption(s) that is currently affecting PUC Distribution customers in Sault Ste. Marie.

Cause

Equipment failure - Broken high voltage insulators

PUC staff are currently investigating the cause of the interruption and will take corrective action by making repairs or switching around the problem as soon as possible.

Description of area involved

Third Line north to city limit and east of Maki Road. South of Second Line; west of Allen's Side Road to Airport Road and Point Des Chene.
