Cause of Interruption: Equipment Failure -- All customers have been restored.

"Power is back on, curb-side pick-up and delivery only for the station mall IDA, please call in all prescriptions," says Station Mall IDA owner Joseph Greco.

This is a description of an unplanned power interruption(s) that is currently affecting PUC Distribution customers in Sault Ste. Marie.

PUC reminds all of our customers:

• Downed wires should always be considered energized or "live", and extremely dangerous
• Do not approach or drive over a downed power line and do not touch anything the power line may be in contact with
• Parents are encouraged to talk to their children about powerline safety and the dangers that can be associated with power lines
• Take all the necessary safety precautions during a power outage

• Station Mall & ACR Senior Apartments, Credit Union, City Hall, Fire Hall #1, Essar Center, Queen St W, Bay St from St Mary's River Dr to Brock St
• Cathcart St. south to Queen St. West; Huron St. west to West St
• Huron St. east to Spring St., Queen St. E. south to Bay St
• Huron St. east to Tancred St.; Edinburgh Lane south to Queen St.

Our friends at Station Mall IDA have emailed SooToday to say the power is out at the Station Mall.

"We are told that the power should be back on shortly, urgent requests call either Wellington Square IDA, Market Mall IDA, Ideal IDA, please use our delivery service," says Station Mall IDA owner Joseph Greco.
