A power outage on March 3, 2024 is impacting 1,500 customers in Sault Ste. Marie.

A power outage affecting more than 1,500 customers this morning in the north end of the city has been resolved, according to the Sault PUC's website.

The outage was reported at 11:09 a.m., impacting 1,574 customers in the areas of Fort Creek, Hiawatha Highlands and Fourth Line.

The cause of the outage is unknown.
