************************* The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is continuing its investigation this afternoon into a serious assault that occurred at a residence on North Street.

Members of investgation services have learned that a 26-year-old male resident of Sault Ste. Marie was seriously injured last night and was airlifted to St. Joseph Hospital in Sudbury.
