********************** Pollari update - 4½ day search completed

(Hilton, Twp. (St. Joseph Island)) - East Algoma O.P.P. in conjunction with the Criminal Investigative Branch have completed a 4½ day search on St. Joseph Island regarding the 2001 disappearance of then-14–year-old Justin Pollari.

A huge area was searched with the Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit with negative results.

Forensics personnel that were on the scene have concluded their on-scene investigation.

The case remains open and under investigation by the East Algoma Crime Unit under the direction of Detective Inspector John Horne.
