************************* City Police are investigating an armed robbery which occurred yesterday afternoon just before 3:30 p.m. at the Hard Wok Café.

It is believed that a lone male attended at the establishment on the corner of Huron Street and Cathcart Street and demanded money from the female working at the front.

The male appeared to be pointing something at her from inside his pocket.

It is unknown what was in his pocket at this time, but the female employee believed it was a firearm.

The male grabbed an undisclosed amount of money then fled the area on foot heading southbound.

The male suspect is described as being in his early twenties, approximately 5’8 – 5’9 in height with a thin build, and short dark hair.

He was wearing a black cotton jacket with a hood over his head, sunglasses and a black bandana covering his face.

The incident remains under investigation and no further details are being released at this time.
