************************* Motor vehicle collision

On Saturday at approximately 1:59 p.m., police were dispatched to investigate a motor vehicle collision at the Bruce and Queen Street intersection.

No injuries were reported.

It was determined that a 2005 Ford van was southbound on Bruce Street and collided with a 2010 Toyota Matrix that was westbound on Queen.

The Ford received what is described as light damage and the Toyota received severe damage.

The driver of the Ford, 51-year-old Terry Kaczmarski of Cottam, Ontario, was charged with disobey red light under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
