NEWS RELEASE
************************** A 17-year-old male youth was arrested on the 6th of June at 7:55 p.m. at the City Police station and charged with one count of assault causing bodily harm.
It is alleged that on the 6th of June at approximately 6:10 p.m., an 18-year-old male had just finished his shift at a local restaurant and when he was walking to his vehicle, he was attacked by the 17-year-old male accused, known to him.
The victim was punched several times in the face and head area.
The accused fled when two patrons exited the restaurant.
The victim had to attend at the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The accused was arrested a short while later after turning himself in.
He is to appear in bail court this morning.
