Police seek witnesses in suspicious Blind River fire

************************* BLIND RIVER, ON. – On July 18, 2011 at 11:35 p.m. East Algoma OPP were called to a house fire at Unit #7, 141 Colonization road in Blind River.

The Blind River fire department was able to extinguish the fire but the unit was totally destroyed.

The unit was vacant with no tenants at the time of the fire.

The dollar value for the damages is unknown at this time.

The Ontario Fire Marshall has been called in and the fire is being treated as suspicious in nature.

The investigation into this fire is continuing.

Police are looking for potential witnesses to this fire and for anyone with information about this building.
