Police seek public assistance in robbery investigation

Investigation Services are currently investigating a robbery that took place overnight at a residence on Second Line East.  
 
At approximately 1:11 a.m., three males wearing black balaclavas broke into the residence.
 
The suspects were armed with a gun and a pipe and demanded cash from the residents.  
 
Three residents were home at the time and one of them was struck with the pipe during the robbery.  
 
The suspects fled on foot with the victim’s bank card, cell phones and home phones.  
 
Police searched the area with negative results and believe the suspects fled from the scene in a vehicle.  
 
The resident is being treated for non-life threatening injuries at the hospital. 
 
The only description available at this time is the suspects were all males, wearing black clothing and black balaclavas.  
 
Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in their investigation.
