Robert Palahnuk, an antique gun collector who's launched a class-action lawsuit over previous police actions at his Heyden home, is facing new Criminal Code charges after another raid on Thursday.

Robert Palahnuk, an antique gun collector who's launched a class-action lawsuit over previous police actions at his Heyden home, is facing new Criminal Code charges after another raid on Thursday.

Palahnuk, 63, was charged with numerous firearms charges after police seized a large quantity of ammunition, weapons and firearm parts.

The noon-hour raid was carried out by members of the Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit, assisted by the Sault Ste Marie OPP detachment.

The Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit is made up of numerous police enforcement agencies and several branches of the Attorney General's office that work with local agencies across the province.
